Jeff Roemer is Vice President of IT supporting the FedEx Ground Operating Company (FXG). Jeff’s responsibilities include application development of several mission critical applications such as FXG’s Transportation Management, Linehaul Network Planning, Maintenance, Safety, Sustainability, Pricing, Rating, Contractor Settlement and Human Resource Systems. Additional responsibilities include End User Services for FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Freight.
Jeff’s career in information technology started 36 years ago at the former Roadway Express. His career progression at FedEx included various IT functions supporting FedEx Ground, and encompassed Field Operational Systems, Headquarter applications, Support Services and Quality Assurance; and earned several prestigious FedEx Five Star Awards.
Jeff is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in computer technology and an MBA from Kent State University
In his free time, Jeff is an avid fisherman and a fan of both the Cleveland Browns and ”The” Ohio State Buckeyes.
